Having built the original site, which had been successful in meeting their customer needs for two years, Tamlite needed me to develop the second phase of their site. Tamlite had identified a need to introduce new business directions through the website, they needed to engage a new market as well as keeping the functionality for their existing customer base.
The answer was to make the site a more modular design, showcasing sector specific information that was linked to products rather than a pure product focus. Having an understanding of Tamlite's market sector enabled me to create a design that suited their brand as well as creating a dynamic web environment, to promote returning interest. Introducing a news feed and news section using a CMS to manage the process independently from the marketing team, allowed Tamlite to allocate staff duties better.
